Terms of service
Last updated: July 24, 2026
1. Overview
Vektor is a software platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyze market data, generate trading signals, and assist users in making investment decisions. Vektor is operated by Vektor, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Vektor," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Vektor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to them, do not use the platform.
2. Brokerage and digital asset services
Vektor is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution. Vektor does not hold, custody, or transmit funds or securities.
Equities execution and custody are provided by Alpaca Securities LLC ("Alpaca"), a FINRA-registered broker-dealer and member of SIPC, through Alpaca's Broker API. When you register, Vektor provisions a brokerage account that is carried by Alpaca and opened in your name. You do not connect a separate, pre-existing Alpaca account, and you never share brokerage login credentials with Vektor.
Digital asset (cryptocurrency) services are provided through Zero Hash LLC and its affiliates ("Zero Hash"), a digital asset infrastructure provider. Where available, Vektor provisions a digital asset account for you under Vektor's platform relationship with Zero Hash; you do not contract with a separate cryptocurrency exchange. Live equities trading and digital asset trading each require separate activation and identity verification (see Section 4).
Your brokerage and digital asset accounts, including all funds, securities, and digital assets held within them, are governed by the customer agreements between you and Alpaca or Zero Hash that you accept during account opening. Vektor cannot withdraw funds from your accounts.
3. Not financial advice
All signals, analysis, reasoning chains, confidence scores, and trade suggestions generated by Vektor are produced by AI models and automated systems. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing on Vektor constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any recommendation to buy or sell any security. Past performance of any signal or model is not indicative of future results.
You are solely responsible for all investment decisions you make. Before making any investment, you should consider your own financial situation, objectives, and risk tolerance, and consult a licensed financial adviser if appropriate.
4. Eligibility
To use Vektor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Reside in a jurisdiction where the use of automated trading software is lawful
- Complete identity verification when required to activate live equities trading or digital asset trading
- Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
Vektor is not available to residents of jurisdictions where the service would be prohibited by applicable law.
5. Account registration
You must create an account to use Vektor. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Activating live equities trading or digital asset trading requires additional identity verification. To open and maintain the brokerage or digital asset account associated with these features, you agree to provide identity information — which may include your legal name, date of birth, residential address, and a government identifier such as a Social Security number or other tax identification number — and you authorize Vektor to transmit that information to Alpaca and, where applicable, Zero Hash to open and maintain your account. These features are subject to approval by the applicable provider.
Vektor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise misuse the platform.
6. Automated trading and risk
Automated trade execution is available to Pro and Team subscribers where enabled. When you enable automated execution, Vektor may submit orders to Alpaca without requiring your explicit approval for each individual trade, subject to the risk profile and thresholds you configure.
You acknowledge and accept the following risks:
- Automated systems can experience technical failures, errors, or unexpected behavior
- AI-generated signals may be incorrect and can result in financial loss
- Market conditions can change faster than any automated system can respond
- Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and digital asset markets can trade continuously, which may amplify losses
- Historical model performance does not guarantee future accuracy
- You remain solely responsible for all losses incurred through automated or manual trading
You should only enable automated execution if you fully understand these risks and are prepared to accept potential financial losses. We strongly recommend using paper trading mode before enabling live automated execution.
7. Subscription and billing
Vektor offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Vektor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Each agent run consumes credits according to the AI models used for its configurable reasoning nodes; more capable models cost more credits per run. Your daily credit allowance is determined by your subscription tier (Starter, Pro, or Team) and resets on a daily cycle. Unused credits do not roll over. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Vektor reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Vektor for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract proprietary model weights or pipeline logic
- Use the platform to circumvent any applicable securities regulations
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorized third parties to access your account
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Vektor system
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
9. Intellectual property
All software, models, algorithms, UI designs, trademarks, and content on Vektor are the property of Vektor, Inc. or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Vektor's intellectual property outside the scope of normal platform use.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Vektor is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranty as to the accuracy or reliability of any AI-generated output.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vektor, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or financial losses arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any AI-generated signal.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to Vektor in the three months preceding the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Vektor after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
